Commentary by Nataraja Guru As his last life work Nataraja Guru tackled Sankara's "Saundarya Lahari", which is a hymn to the Goddess and a meditation on the nature of Beauty. It is a controversial work, belonging to the school of Tantra and yet ascribed to the great advaita vedanta philosopher and reformer Sankara. Nataraja Guru's commentary unravels many of the enigmas of this work, elucidating the use of proto-language (the non-rational language of poetry and art) in the "Saundarya Lahari" to present the non-dual Reality of sat-cit-ananda.
